In Soul Gambler, you start off by being an average person, and straight from the get-go you gain the power to sell your soul in exchange for worldly things. Such as a hot woman, a brand-new car, and wild hot sleepless nights. All of those are accurate minus the second one.
You soon find out that having a detectable soul is not what it appears to be as you are hunted by a witch and her minions to take more and more of your soul away and you have to go on the run.
The story itself is really nice as is the traditional comic-like graphics they included in the game like reading thru a marvel comic and playing as the character. The game also has multiple possible endings depending on how you play so it takes the position of choosing your own adventure type of story in this visual novel.
Is the game worth it in the long run, I think so as does our staff as we really enjoyed our play-through of it and if this was reading rainbow I’d say, But don’t take our word for it! If you want to play Soul Gambler be sure to check it out on Steam!
