Pixel Puzzles: UndeadZ is a unique, albeit horrific take on the typical jigsaw puzzle of old! In this game, you have to put together jigsaw puzzles. You must do them quickly or zombies will come and attack you at the bottom edge of the screen!
As the zombies are progressing from left to right, you must shoot at them, and also use other types of turrets, landmines, and barricades to stop them from reaching your little soldier positioned at the screen’s bottom-right corner.
As the puzzle pieces fit into place, you will periodically earn “Zed” tokens, which can be used to purchase upgrades for your barricades, as well as the other weaponry that are used to stop the oncoming waves of aforementioned zombie hordes.
Overall, this game is unique in the fact that it does add a modicum of tension to the typical jigsaw puzzle experience. Of course, you can turn off the zombie mode and just enjoy the puzzles casually.
The graphics are not spectacular, but they honestly don’t need to be. You have enough to worry about; grabbing the floating pieces, fitting them into place, and protecting the military man from a fate worse than death.
So yes, give Pixel Puzzles: UndeadZ a try. You’ll find it a pastime both relaxing and stressful…who could want more?
