Back in 2004 when Daniel Clatworthy was attending church, he was told that playing card games is the devil’s work and that no good could come from it. However through playing a simple card game, he met many new people…not only locally but from around the world. These were people from all walks of life, religion, color, race, and gender.
It was this that sparked a change. Knowing that they were wrong, Daniel has made it his life’s goal to bring people together and to show that through gaming you can make the world a better place and get to know people for who they truly are.
It is with this notion that he created the Gamers-Haven with friends both locally and around the world, to help make a difference in people’s lives; first and foremost to be gamers and enjoy themselves while doing it.
It is to this extent that Daniel has gathered friends from across the globe to help grow the Gamers-Haven by doing what gamers do best; playing games, recording “Let’s Plays”, conducting live streams and, writing reviews. But we always keep in mind the ultimate goal of showing the world that, as gamers, we can make a difference in people’s lives.
It is also the hope and dream of the Gamers-Haven that someday the world will see gaming in a more positive light, and for its beneficial power to help people.
