Early Access: Shadow Blade: Reload

First up is our disclaimer.  We got this game because we wanted to review it, and as such all views in this article our are own. No money has been exchanged for this review.  SBRBannerShadow Blade reload is a indie platform title that we have gotten a chance to look at while its in early access and so far we have just been greatly impressed with its unique gameplay and need for perfect timing on incredibly complex obstacles.
The overall design of the game is nicely done with extreme detail done to the mechanics to really enjoy it to its fullest potential. I personally love the artwork and overall design of the game and I am quite happy with how it looks and feels.

The fact that the main character is a Ninja is just a bonus for me. I have played quite a few Ninja games and I don’t feel they really capture the challenges one would have if one was a real Ninja. Given this game doesn’t do that either but it comes incredibly close with its teeth grinding rage moments as you fight your way thru each level.

Haven Editorial: The Greatest: Hyrule Warrior

Long before Link was the Hero of Hyrule there was another.

Someone of pure soul, and infinite strength who’s shout echoed
thru the lands and brought fear to his enemies. This character is now hidden in the recent DLC that’s coming.
No the character isn’t the Skull kid, or Ganon for that matter
they are to weak and meager compared to this beings strength.
The rifts in time themselves now open up to reveal this character unto the world.
Evil has a new face to fear and it doesn’t even need the blade of evils bane.
But seriously if you think I am joking check out the latest footage up on YouTube.
What are your thoughts on this great creature being a playable character in Hyrule Warriors?

Haven Review: Transformers Rise of the Dark Spark

First up is our disclaimer.  We got this game because we wanted to review it, and as such all views in this article our are own. No money has been exchanged for this review.  TransformersAnnounce_Screen2

Transformers Rise of the Dark Spark based around the movie Transformers. You think the game would be good but tragically it is far from it. The controls at times are clunky and slow and extremely hard to play with. The character development is based solely on what you would learn in the movies.Rise-Of-The-Dark-Spark-Is-New-Transformers-Game-Listing_jpg 1392391632

As well as the animated series if you watched it as a kid. It is interesting to see the two get tied in together but it feels forced and the game runs dry. Besides all this the games audio seems borrowed from the movies instead of having its own musical score.

Hoping that the soundtrack for the movie and the game would be good enough for both but it falls short of making the cut-scenes and gameplay come to life. The greatest sin of this game is its multiplayer where it just falls short and is non-existent. Is it a game worth getting?

Only if your buying it for your child other than that. Its one robotic disappointment.
