The great actor Leonard Nimoy has passed away at the age of 83.
With tears in my eyes I write this as I remembered him fondly
ogAcRjBgrowing up I spent a great deal of time watching Star Trek with my brother and my sister
and it was one of the happiest moments I can remember from my childhood.

I always thought the character he played known as Spock was an ideal character who was
something the world always needed an intelligent man who was kind and caring and I like to believe. That Leonard Nimoy will always be remembered that way as well as a kind caring person.

Although the role of Spock will be reprised over and over again by future actors
I will always remember fondly the memories he created for me and many others.

Goodbye one of my childhood heroes, you were a great man loved by many and your legacy will never be forgotten.

We can only hope that his family and friends will be able to find solace in each other during this moment of sorrow and that, they remember the best times they had with him, and the happy times he gave to so many people around the world.
